I am an MSc Computer Network student at Iran University of Science and Technology advised by Dr. Azgomi. Before joining my Master's education, I spent my BSc researching Cyber Security concerns. On top of that, I took a machine learning course (a graduate course) to explore more cutting-edge research on security during my undergraduate.
My research has spanned many areas such as Security in Computer Networks, IoT, and Machine Learning edge methods. Broadly, my interest lies in gaining a fundamental understanding of a given system and achieving more robust systems. More recently, my research focus has been on privacy in a new cutting edge machine learning technique known as Federated Learning. I'm interested in understanding how robust federated learning methods are to perturbation, and privacy and fairness constraints, to design practical algorithms that achieve privacy and fairness.
